APRA offers valuation course in city

Realtors in the country have so far relied on their experience in the local market for valuations. Globalisation of the real estate sector has however changed that, with local players facing competition from international consultants who work with standardised valuation methods.

With a view to train consultants and all those involved in real estate valuation in scientific methods of valuation , Andhra Pradesh Realtors Association (APRA), along with NAR India , is organising a two-day valuation course from August 2 to 3 at the Taj Deccan in Hyderabad.

D Sreedhar Reddy, Chairman, Education Committee, NAR-India said that the two-day training programme will be conducted by the international valuation specialist from USA, George Badescu who will introduce participants to general valuation principles, standards, approaches, reporting , valuation as a profession as well as ethics and code of conduct in the valuation profession."The course will equip professionals with a scientific tool, and help credibility among investors and consultants, he added.
