APRA hosted the 11th Governing Council Meeting In Hyderabad on 4th October 2009. It was attended by the council members from Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Vadodra, Kolakata and Hyderabad.

APRA also hosted a networking dinner on the 3rd Oct 2009 night for NAR-India council members and the members of APRA. This networking dinner opened doors for the local consultants to spread their work across India.

The NAR-India chairman Dr.P.S.N Rao threw light on many core issues related to the real estate industry including the real estate regulatory bill. The NAR-India President and Hon.Secretary stressed upon the need to spread the good work of national and state associations to the entire broker community. NAR-India is planning to have educational programmes in the first quarter of 2010. The Chairman of the educational Committe Mr.Sreedhar Reddy (APRA-President) is working on building educational programmes to suit Indian Realtor along with International and National Faculty.

NAR-India and APRA's emphasis on education will give the Indian realtor the required edge and tools to compete with international players.
